Events in 2010 |
|
Jinnah University College took part in the 4 day Model UN ZABMUN, organized by
Szabist University. Two delegations were sent comprising of 5 members each.The
delegation from A' levels represented Italy and University of London
International Programmes represented Chad. JUC is proud to have bagged two best delegate awards by
their students namely Mohammad Ismail and Owais Iqbal and an honorary award by
Aatir Khan.
Jinnah university College took part in Royal Rodale's Anuual Talent Watch and
Ahmed Afzal won the third prize in singing. Later in the year we took part in
the Royal Rodale Writing Competition and proudly bagged two winners, M. Aatir
Khan and Q. M. Zulqurnain-ul-Haq. |

Events in 2011 |
As tradition JUC took part in ZABMUN. We sent two delegations six students each
representing the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Philippines. JUC also took
part at MUN@TIS, MUN organized by the International School. We sent four
delegations representing Seychelles, Denmark, Comoros and St. Lucia. Nooruddin
Peati representing St. Lucia received an honorary mention.
We participated in practically all events of the International Schools
Educational Olympiad. Chess, art, debate, scrabble, photography and vocals.
Mariuam Altaf bagged the second position in the category of photography. JUC
also participated at the Declamation Contest held at River Oaks Academy and
Marium Altaf won the second position.
As tradition we took part at the Talent Fiesta organized by the Royal Rodale
Recreational Club. JUC bagged the first position in the duet singing category.
Our very own JUC idols Suleman Farooq and Fahad Kaleem Zahid did us proud.
Besides these activities taking place outside of campus JUC organized three mega
events. The Annual Inter-School Sports Championship and the Inter-School Debate
Contest.
An extremely outstanding mega event was a “Piano Recital” held in January 2011.
Asad Anees, a student of JUC and The Maestro played the classical works of
Beethoven, Mozart Chopin to mention but a few. It was a very successful event
well applauded by the audience. |
